Leather belt with handmade german silver buckle “Cerberus”.
Cerberus, according to Greek myths is the three headed dog who guarded the gate to Hades (the kingdom of the dead), not letting out of the dead, and not letting in the alive one. But truth is, that according to mythology, there were a few daring men who managed to pass by the menacing guard, and Hercules even managed to capture him. On the back of the buckle is depicted a roisterer, Acherontia atropos, better known as the "Dead Head". The name comes from two words, Acheron - the tributary of the Styx, the poisonous waters through which Charon carried by the boat of the souls of the dead into the kingdom of shadows, and Atropos - the eldest of the three goddesses, which cuts the thread of fate woven together with the sisters.
Buckles cast in german silver (an alloy of copper, nickel, and zinc). After casting, each buckle processed manually. After processing the buckle, cover by patina and polishing one more time.
The belt is made of genuine calf leather.
