• drawing, photo or the thing itself, if you need to make a copy of it;
• dimensions (height, width, thickness ) of the future product.

Then discussing all the nuances and mechanisms of production, Klamra craftsmen will be able to name the exact price for one piece and the minimum quantity. If everything is agreed and the necessary information is received, a down payment of 50% is made and the casting process begins. On average, it takes 6-8 weeks to produce products, depending on the volume and complexity of the order.

Materials and technologies for the production of brass products

We create custom brass products by casting molten metal into a form.

First, a sketch of the future product (design, design, etc.) is developed. When the design is approved, the next stage begins - the production of a clay or plastic model, from which molds are made. Next comes direct metal casting.

After solidification of the brass, Klyamry craftsmen carry out manual processing: initial grinding, covering with patina to create the effect of antiquity and final grinding of the finished product.

How to choose brass products?

Brass is a widely known alloy characterized by strength, elasticity and wear resistance. The main elements are copper (more than 50%) and zinc. Tin, lead, aluminum, nickel and manganese are also added, which can depend on the shade: from yellow and golden to green.

Brass is checked with an ordinary magnet: products made of the real alloy do not react to its approach. But it should be noted that under certain conditions (the presence of a small percentage of iron - 3-6%), it is also magnetized.

There is another way to check: look for scratches. If it is brass, the color inside the stripes should be the same yellow as the surface.

The price of brass products: what affects the cost?

Brass products can be bought much cheaper than from precious materials. This alloy is actively used to create jewelry and accessory details, because it is resistant to environmental factors. But the presence of impurities can affect the characteristics of the products - from the color to the ability to oxidize in the air. 

The smaller the composition of the alloy of other metals, the better its properties, which means that the price of finished brass products will be higher .
