Belt buckle “Jormungand”
Handmade brass buckle “Jormungand”.
The belt buckle is created based on the Scandinavian epic, which tells about big snake, son of Loki. According to the ancient prophecy, it was one of the creature that would bring death to the gods. Several times Jormungand fighted with Torah. Their last meeting will take place during Ranjaroc, the thunderbolt will kill Jormungand and a and the drop of his poison will hit the Torah, which will cause the god to die too. The plot of the god thunder fight with a snake is common in Indo-European mythology.
Buckles are cast from brass. After casting, each buckle processed manually. After processing the buckle, cover by patina and polishing one more time.
Buckle comes complete with a brass frame of 2 sizes to choose from (38 mm and 45 mm) for later attachment to the belt.
