Tree of Life is one of the most ancient archetypes of outlook. Filled with deep symbolism, gained a lot of interpretations in various world theologies, mythologies, and philosophies. It alludes to the interconnection of all life on our planet and serves as a metaphor for common descent in the evolutionary sense.
The first images of tree of life can be found even in Tripoli ceramics. It seems there is no type of folk art, which would not have met this character: pysanky, vyshyvanky, weaving and now metal working.
Belt buckle made from brass, by casting. After manual processing tool covered with patina. Buckle comes complete with a brass frame 2 sizes to choose from (38 mm and 45 mm) for later attachment to the belt.
