German silver belt buckle “Viking warship Drakkar”
Drakkar is a Viking battleship. The low draft allowed navigation at shallow depths, and light weight allowed the ship to be transported by train and developed at high speed. Thanks to these ships and viking’s pertinacity, they gained the glory of skilled sailors and conquerors.
Buckles are cast in german silver (an alloy of copper, nickel, and zinc). May contain a slight yellowish tinge. After casting, each buckle processed manually. After processing the buckle, cover by patina and polishing one more time.
