Leather belt with handmade german silver buckle “Sun”.
The central element in this buckle is a stylized sun - one of the main elements of ancient, pre-Christian culture.
It has long been a source tracks Hutsul ornamental decoration was ancient Slavic solar cult, who sang the original farming and cattle where the decisive factor was considered life-giving solar power.
The symbol of the sun is the emblem of prosperity and well-being, as in those days, and now this symbol is widely used as a talisman.
Buckles cast in german silver (an alloy of copper, nickel, and zinc). After casting, each buckle processed manually. After processing the buckle, cover by patina and polishing one more time.
The belt is made of genuine calf leather.
